Frequently Asked Questions
What is a travel advisor?
A travel advisor is more than someone who books hotels. We help travelers navigate their options, discover meaningful experiences, and make informed decisions. At COULTOUR, our specialty is personalized travel with an emphasis on Hawaiʻi, exceptional accommodations, golf, wellness, food, culture, and memorable celebrations.
Why should I book through COULTOUR instead of booking online myself?
Booking online is easy. Knowing what to book, which experiences are worth your time, and how everything fits together can be more complicated. We bring firsthand knowledge, honest recommendations, and a personal approach that helps you make the most of your time and budget.
What destinations do you specialize in?
Hawaiʻi is our primary specialty — all five major islands. We have firsthand experience across Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, and Lānaʻi, and we're continuously expanding our knowledge of other destinations.
Do you charge a planning fee?
Our fee structure depends on the scope of your trip and the services involved. We'll discuss this transparently during our initial conversation so there are no surprises.
What are the benefits of booking through a Fora-affiliated advisor?
As an advisor affiliated with Fora, we may be able to help you access eligible hotel benefits through participating travel partners — which can include breakfast, hotel credits, or room upgrades depending on the property and booking. These benefits are not guaranteed and vary by property.
How do I get started?
Simply reach out through our planning form and tell us a little about your trip. We'll follow up to schedule a complimentary conversation and go from there.
Affiliated with Fora
The benefits of a global network.
As an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora, I have access to preferred hotel programs and a curated network of trusted travel partners worldwide. Depending on the property, booking, and availability, eligible benefits may include breakfast, hotel credits, or room upgrades — I'll always be transparent about what applies to your specific trip.
